Civil Litigation

Litigation can be an expensive, stressful and time-consuming process. We will not take a matter to trial without discussing the actual costs of the litigation and the risks of trial with you in detail.

During your initial interview our lawyers will ask you for information about the event(s) that gave rise to the action including specifics about dates, places and parties. We will also ask you to tell us about your objectives and expectations with regards to the action as we believe it is important to have realistic expectations about the process, as well as the potential results of litigation. To achieve this, we will explain the potential benefits and limitations of litigation, keep you updated as to the progression of the action and the availability of pre-trial devices, such as negotiation and mediation.

We offer services in the areas of:

  • General litigation in Provincial Small Claims Court and Supreme Court of British Columbia;
  • Estate litigation;
  • Personal Injury; and
  • Wrongful dismissal.
